Join us for this 2-hour class is an evidence-based mind-body intervention for helping people in pain. This class is now produced by Healer Within Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to the creation of health and wellbeing in communities all over the United States. Your registration fees for this class (~$47 USD) benefit the nonprofit to produce more wellness programs for people just like you. Empowered Relief (TM) was developed by Stanford University pain scientist, Dr. Beth Darnall, you will learn skills for managing pain through mind-body practice. If you are alive, you will at some point experience pain in your life. How you think and feel about pain in general will in many ways determine your pain experience. This presentation will explain why this is so and give you tools to handle pain or support others in your life who may be experiencing a prolonged or chronic pain experience. All the principles from Empowered Relief class applied to safe and gentle movement, meditation, and breath practice. Welcome to Restorative Qigong and Tai Chi: Two LIVE Zoom sessions per week over eight weeks give you meditative movement to help you manage chronic pain situations. Learn useful skills for moving safely and modulating pain. Be with others who deal with pain situations. Supplemental materials include recorded meditations, journaling ideas, and power thoughts for people in pain.
